| Here is why u don't speed around turns | This is (was) my girlfriends car | ||
![]() You get the idea right, not a good idea to speed around a turn, lose it into a tree head on, She is lucky to be alive |
I am dedicating this page to cindi
brown (my girlfriend) who is lucky to still be with us.
This is pics of before and after of what use to be her car. She has a
page of her 93 honda civic cx buildup, if you want more info on it (b16a,
bushings, groundcontrol,gsr brakes, etc) just look at her link here
JK:L:LKJ:KJLJJ:KLJ:KLJK:LJKL: Like I said before she is lucky to be alive, she sustained a left broken shin, (clean break, got a rod put in it), a cut on her right arm (around 10 stitches in it), and the most prevalent is the cut across her head over 55 stitches. It starts on the side of her head, across most of her eye socket, and up threw her eyebrow stopping almost into the center of her forehead. She had a slight concussion I would assume, she was very disorientated at the crash site. She had just left the house and was going to her mothers to help unload the truck, I was leaving just a few seconds behind them, she left first and was driving faster then I was (nothing new, b16a vs. d16z6). so we get on the second road from our house (honeysuckle road) this is a windy road, she was just getting around to the third turn/bend she was already outta my site ( she was around the third before I was getting around the second one). So when I came around the next bend (third) I couldn't see or hear her car anymore, (since her car had no muffler, and we were in an area with lots of tree's on both sides, u could hear her car for along time). As I come around the turn I see a dirt/dust cloud out into a field and the first thing pops into my head is look over there for her, just incase, that's just the way I think, and about that second of thinking that, Greg (the passenger) yells at me, so I turn around to find her on the opposite side of the road, car impacted into the tree, Greg slightly panicking and bleeding, so I toss him the phone, to call 911 (which of course wouldn't u know it, we don't know the name of the road were on), so anyway I run up to the car, to see cindi pretty messed up, cindi is laying across the passenger seat, back to passenger door, legs across drivers seat, (as I found out later Greg started to pull her outta the car) ask her is she ok, she says that her leg and head hurt, I can see she is holding her leg, at the knee, as her foot dangles, but not straight, like its still connected its shifted a half inch over so its obvious that its broke, then I see her arm, with a 2 inch cut showing a bunch of open flesh, (very minor blood coming out), at this point I still hadn't seen her right side of her face, that's when I get really scared, I see she is bleeding a lot outta of above her right eye, so I grab the blanket that's in the car, and hold it above her eye, and hold the wound closed, until a bus driver comes by, asks if we are ok, and she bring some gauss, so I put that over her eye, and hold pressure there, and then put some over her arm and took a headband, double wrapped it, and put on the arm to hold the gauss down, and patiently waited till the paramedics got there, while this is happening, cindi keeps asking me, Were am I, Were was I going, What happened, My leg hurts, How did I get here. So I kept telling her, she was driving, she hit a tree, she was on her way to her mothers, over and over again. (later to find out she thought she was a passenger by the way she was sitting) When the paramedics got there I told them the broken left leg, laceration on right arm and above right eye. Now here is the really interesting parts, This car had liability on it, boy that's one learning experience all in itself, and the better part of that learning experience is that cindi has NO HEALTH insurance, she is going to have to pay for a lot of this outta pocket, and lose a lot of time at work too (no sick time). First we wait to see how much the car insurance is going to cover, and I wouldn't be surprised if I get dropped from my insurance policy after this one too

![]() Its obvious that she lost to the tree she struck at upwards of 50-60mph (since we don't exactly know how fast she was going since she blacked out) |
|||
![]() Amazing the passenger (greg98hx on my website) survived basically unharmed a little bruised up, and 2 stitches in his head (above the forehead) he climbed outta the car, to yell at the first car to come by which happened to be me,) they had just left the house (not even a quarter mile away from our house yet) |
